Massive savings on home, tech, and beauty as Amazon’s two-day October sale ends tonight
Amazon’s annual Prime Big Deal Days event is coming to a close at midnight tonight, giving shoppers only a few hours left to grab some of the biggest discounts of the year. The two-day sale, which began on 7 October, has offered Prime members exclusive access to thousands of deals across homeware, electronics, fashion, toys, and beauty — with savings reaching up to 65%.
The October sales event, first launched in 2023, serves as Amazon’s early festive shopping push, encouraging customers to stock up on Christmas gifts, advent calendars, and seasonal essentials ahead of the busy retail period. As Halloween and Christmas approach, the timing has proven ideal for those looking to stretch their budgets.
Among the most popular deals so far are substantial discounts on household staples and big-name brands. One of the standout offers includes the Shark Stratos Cordless Pet Pro Stick Vacuum Cleaner, now £200 down from £312 — a saving of £112. The lightweight cleaner is designed to automatically remove hair from the brush-roll and features LED headlights to help illuminate hidden dust.
Kitchen essentials have also seen deep price cuts. The Finish Quantum Infinity Shine Dishwasher Tablets (Pack of 2), containing a total of 166 tablets, are now just £21 instead of £50 — a £29 saving that will last most homes well into next year.

Fashion fans haven’t been left out either. Calvin Klein’s three-pack of men’s cotton boxer trunks is currently £23, marked down from £42. Available in sizes XS to XL, the set costs nearly half the price listed on the official Calvin Klein website, making it one of the most popular buys in the sale.
Personal care items have also been heavily discounted. The Oral-B iO2 Duo Electric Toothbrush pack, featuring two high-end toothbrushes, has dropped to £58 from £160 — a massive £102 saving. Meanwhile, everyday favourites such as Nivea’s Cashmere Indulgent Moisture Shower Cream are priced at just £4, down from £8, working out to roughly £1.20 a bottle when purchased as a multipack.
For families preparing for the festive season, there are bargains on treats and home essentials too. The Cadbury Heroes Premium Advent Calendar (230g) is now £5, cheaper than most supermarkets, while a 24-pack of Velvet Classic Quilted Toilet Tissue has been reduced from £10 to £7.
Beyond individual items, the sale’s greatest appeal lies in its variety. Categories including electronics, toys, skincare, and smart home devices have been among the most searched on the site this week. Popular items such as air fryers, tablets, wireless headphones, and home security cameras have also seen steep discounts, with many shoppers reporting items selling out within hours of going live.
Shopping editors have noted that Prime Big Deal Days functions as Amazon’s autumn counterpart to Prime Day, offering similar levels of discounting but focusing on pre-Christmas essentials. The sale gives consumers an early opportunity to buy gifts or restock household products before prices typically rise in November.
Amazon has also expanded its eco-friendly and small business categories, highlighting sustainable and independent UK sellers within the event. Customers can filter results to support small enterprises or purchase certified climate-conscious products as part of Amazon’s ongoing sustainability campaign.
With the sale ending at midnight, Prime members are being encouraged to act quickly. The retailer has warned that many of the most popular deals will not return until Black Friday in late November.
To access the discounts, shoppers must have an active Amazon Prime membership, which costs £8.99 per month or £95 per year. Non-members can still take advantage of the offers by signing up for a free 30-day trial.
Whether you’re looking for a powerful vacuum cleaner, budget-friendly beauty staples, or early Christmas gifts, Amazon’s October event remains one of the year’s most anticipated sales. But as the clock ticks toward midnight, the best deals — and the best stock — are rapidly disappearing.
