The Welsh forward joins the League Two side after a successful spell at Bolton Wanderers

MK Dons have announced the signing of striker Aaron Collins from League One side Bolton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

The 28‑year‑old Welshman arrives after an impressive stint with the Trotters, where he netted 20 goals in 64 league appearances following his move from Bristol Rovers in February 2024. In all competitions last season, Collins found the net 19 times across 55 appearances.

Dons manager Paul Warne expressed his delight at bringing Collins to Stadium MK. “Aaron is a naturally gifted footballer with bags of ability, especially in front of goal,” he said. “He’s a very versatile player and will add a massive goal threat for us across the front line.”

The club has not disclosed the length of the contract, but the addition of the proven forward is expected to bolster MK Dons’ attacking options as they look to mount a promotion challenge from League Two.

Collins began his professional career with Newport County before making a name for himself with Forest Green Rovers and Bristol Rovers. He joined Bolton in early 2024 and quickly established himself as a fans’ favourite.

With pre‑season training under way, MK Dons will be hoping the arrival of the Welsh marksman can help propel them towards a successful campaign and a return to League One.
