Kristin Cavallari reveals her 9-year-old daughter Saylor already plans to run uncommon James.

Kristin Cavallari’s nine-year-old daughter, Saylor, isn’t waiting for adulthood to map out her future—she’s already got her sights set on the family business.

On the latest episode of her podcast Let’s Be Honest, the reality star-turned-entrepreneur shared a proud revelation: Saylor has begun telling friends and classmates that she intends to take over her mum’s jewellery brand, Uncommon James.

“She’s been telling everybody,” Cavallari said with a laugh. “I think the whole school knows about it.”

The TV personality described a sweet moment when Saylor hosted a gathering of her young friends and proudly gifted each of them items from Cavallari’s collection.

“When it came out, she actually had all of her little girlfriends over, and she gifted everyone the collection,” Cavallari shared. “And it’s just been really fun for me to see how excited she is about this and to be able to do this.”

Cavallari, who built Uncommon James from the ground up following her years in the spotlight on shows like Laguna Beach and The Hills, seemed genuinely moved by her daughter’s enthusiasm. She admitted it wouldn’t surprise her if Saylor eventually followed through on her dream.

“She has all the plans to take over Uncommon James one day,” Cavallari said, “and I honestly do feel like she probably will because she is very into it for being nine years old.”

The proud mum beamed during the episode, calling it “just a proud mum moment,” as she reflected on her daughter’s ambition and early interest in the business.

Saylor is the youngest of Cavallari’s three children with her former husband, ex-NFL quarterback Jay Cutler. The couple, who divorced in 2020, also share two sons: Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 10.

Cavallari has frequently spoken about balancing her work as a designer, author, and media personality with raising her three children. But this recent insight into Saylor’s budding interest in entrepreneurship paints a new picture: one where the Cavallari legacy may stay firmly in the family.

Though Uncommon James began as a jewellery label, the brand has since expanded into beauty and homeware, gaining significant commercial traction in the U.S. and abroad. Now, with a potential heir already making her intentions clear in the schoolyard, Cavallari might be laying the foundations of a generational brand.

The 37-year-old designer didn’t comment on when—or if—she would ever hand over the reins, but her admiration for her daughter’s early drive suggests she wouldn’t stand in the way.

“She’s so passionate already,” Cavallari said, still slightly stunned by the intensity of Saylor’s vision. “It’s wild to see at that age.”

While most nine-year-olds are still deciding what to be for Halloween, Saylor appears ready to lead a fashion empire
