After a year of celibacy post-breakup, Carl Radke awkwardly re-enters the dating scene.

Carl Radke is stepping back into the dating world—but he’s the first to admit it isn’t going smoothly. The Summer House star has been single since breaking off his engagement with co-star Lindsay Hubbard, 38, and after a year of self-imposed celibacy, he’s finally trying to flirt again.

The latest episode of Summer House teased Radke’s return to romance, and in a candid chat with the Daily Star, he reflected on how uncomfortable the process has been.

“I put myself out there this past summer. I hadn’t been with anybody since Lindsay. It took time to heal, and I didn’t want to bring old baggage into dating or hooking up,” he admitted.

Radke, who has been sober for several years, revealed that his approach to relationships has shifted dramatically.

“The one-night stands like I used to do? Not for me anymore. I’m a lot more careful now.”

However, careful doesn’t mean smooth. Radke confessed that his attempts at romance have been anything but effortless.

“I’m trying to navigate—how do I put myself out there, have fun, but not create drama or a disaster?”

The Summer House star has made some progress. He revealed that he met someone at a party and even went on a date, though he describes the experience as “cringe dating.”

“It’s funny to watch back. I’m learning how to date again, how to flirt. It’ll probably be cringy, but I’m proud of myself for trying.”

Meanwhile, Hubbard has moved on in a big way—she recently welcomed her first child with a new, unnamed partner.

As Radke stumbles through his awkward re-entry into the dating world, fans are left wondering: will his cringe-worthy attempts at love lead to something real? With Summer House yet to be renewed for a 10th season, viewers might not get to see how his romantic life unfolds.
