The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are accused of making ‘petty’ moves amid tensions with the royal family

Tensions between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the Royal Family are reportedly at a breaking point, with claims that their relationship with King Charles is now “at full disintegration point.” This follows recent accusations that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made “petty” moves that may have worsened their already strained relationship with the monarchy.

Royal correspondent Jack Royston has stated that the absence of Prince Harry during King Charles’s recent UK visits is a clear indication that the royal bond may be irreparable. He remarked, “That is probably the biggest warning sign that [their relationship] could actually be at full disintegration point now.”

Despite the King’s busy schedule during Harry’s visits to the UK, it is suggested that the couple’s actions, particularly their timing of announcements, have not helped to ease the rift. Journalist Bronte Coy pointed out that the Sussexes have often made public announcements that coincide with significant Royal Family events, leading to accusations of taking the spotlight.

Coy specifically referenced the timing of the couple’s statements on days when major Royal Family news broke, such as Kate’s chemotherapy video. “Even if it’s not deliberate from them that they’ve been released at the same time, the optics are that it’s quite petty,” she said.

The ongoing public scrutiny and perceived one-upmanship have contributed to growing tension, and it remains uncertain how this will impact the Sussexes’ future relationship with the monarchy
