42-year-old Kane Drew faces multiple charges including recording intimate images without consent and drug supply
In Lithgow, a man accused of secretly recording women with hidden cameras will stay behind bars after facing charges for unauthorized recording and drug supply. The New South Wales Raptor Squad officers initiated an investigation in June 2023 after discovering videos of intimate acts during a search warrant execution.
On Friday, authorities searched a residence on Bells Road in Oakley Park, where they retrieved an electronic device from a creek behind the property. This led to the arrest of 42-year-old Kane Drew, who was charged with supplying the drug ice (crystal methamphetamine). Following his arrest, Drew was taken to Lithgow Hospital as a precaution before being transported to Lithgow police station, where he was refused bail. He appeared before the Dubbo local court on Saturday.

The charges against him include resisting a police officer, possessing a prohibited drug, recklessly dealing with proceeds of crime less than $5000, recording intimate images without consent (DV), dealing with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000, and supplying prohibited drugs.
Drew was denied bail and is scheduled to appear in court again on June 24. The investigation is ongoing.
