Princess Kate set for Easter comeback as palace urges respect for her recovery

Princess Kate Middleton is expected to resume her royal duties by Easter, according to a royal insider. The Princess of Wales has been recuperating well after undergoing abdominal surgery in January at The London Clinic in London. Amid the recent controversy surrounding the edited Mother’s Day photograph, the insider emphasized the need for Kate to be left in peace as she recovers.

The photograph, which depicted Kate with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, was admitted by the Princess to have been edited. The image’s alteration has sparked widespread discussion, with calls for the unedited version to be released. However, Kensington Palace has stated that the original photo will not be reissued.

Royal sources have expressed concern over the intense scrutiny Kate faces, especially during her recovery period. Jennie Bond, a former BBC royal correspondent, highlighted the potential for bullying and urged for understanding and respect towards Kate’s situation.

Kate’s surgery and the subsequent recovery period have kept her away from official engagements, with the Palace previously indicating that she would not return to duties until after Easter. The recent insider’s statement suggests that her comeback may coincide with the Easter celebrations.

As the royal family and their supporters await Kate’s return, the focus remains on her health and well-being amidst the ongoing discussions surrounding the edited photograph.
