Gone was the sword-wielding Arya, replaced by Maisie’s portrayal of Ginette “Catherine” Dior, a resilient resistance fighter during World War II.

Clad in a captivating black peplum dress adorned with jewels, Maisie exuded elegance and sophistication, donning small sunglasses and lace gloves to complete her ensemble, topped off with a statement satin hat.

In ‘The New Look’, Maisie Williams brings to life the remarkable story of Catherine Dior, sister to famed French fashion designer Christian Dior. Catherine’s bravery in the face of adversity, surviving capture, torture, and imprisonment by the Nazis, is a testament to her indomitable spirit.

The series delves into the post-war fashion world, chronicling Christian Dior’s ascension to prominence alongside his rival, Coco Chanel, shedding light on Coco’s controversial connections to the Nazi regime.

For Maisie, the role of Catherine offered a unique opportunity to merge her passion for fashion with her acting prowess, as she expressed her excitement for the impactful project.

Co-starring Ben Mendelsohn as Christian Dior and Juliette Binoche as Coco Chanel, ‘The New Look’ promises to captivate audiences with its compelling narrative and stellar performances.

As Maisie Williams embarks on this transformative journey, fans eagerly anticipate the premiere of ‘The New Look’ on Apple TV Plus, scheduled for Wednesday, February 14th.
