Metropolitan police appeals to the public for assistance in identifying suspect
A sense of urgency has enveloped Stratford as the Metropolitan Police launch a manhunt after a woman in her 20s reported being assaulted in the vicinity of Medals Way. The alleged attack occurred at 6.30 pm on Thursday, prompting swift action from law enforcement.
The Met Police has released crucial CCTV images featuring a man they believe may have information vital to the investigation. Described as tall, slim, and in his 20s, the individual in question was captured in a black tracksuit, a beige cap, and a hoodie pulled up over his head. Notably, he sports black facial hair and carries a satchel.
Detective Constable Ben Dailey, leading the investigation, stated, “We have carried out a number of enquiries, including recovering CCTV from around the area. As a result of this, we are releasing two images of a man we would like to identify. I would ask anyone who recognises him to come forward immediately.”
The woman, who reported the assault, is receiving support from specially trained officers during this challenging time.
