Shocking Twist: Police Officer claims powerlessness in on-duty tryst with 999 caller

Prepare for a jaw-dropping revelation as a 27-year-old police officer, Jordan Masterson, is set to make an astonishing defence in court. The officer is expected to argue that he was utterly powerless to resist engaging in a sexual encounter with a woman who had dialled 999 for emergency assistance.

The eyebrow-raising incident unfolded in Widnes, Cheshire, during the early hours of December 28, 2021, when Masterson responded to the distress call from the woman, referred to as “female G.” According to prosecutor Duncan Bould, the woman was in an emotional state and under the influence of alcohol.

In a surprising turn of events, Bould revealed, “Within a short time of arriving at her home, [Masterson] turned off his body-worn camera and engaged in consensual sexual intercourse with female G. Shortly after that, he left her.” The jury at Chester Crown Court heard the woman’s account, describing the atmosphere changing after Masterson turned off his camera, leading to an intimate encounter on the living room sofa.

The twist in this salacious tale doesn’t end there. The woman, whose children were asleep in the house during the incident, made additional emergency calls. Masterson returned to her home around 1:30 am, once again turning off his body-worn camera. Bould explained, “She says during the course of that second visit he told her not to tell anyone about what had happened earlier. He then left for a second time.”

After Masterson’s departure, the woman contacted the police again, using the term “rape” when describing the incident to the call handler. However, she later clarified that she had wanted to engage in consensual sex. During police interviews, Masterson remained tight-lipped, offering a prepared statement asserting that the woman had “instigated” physical contact. He claimed that she was in control, rendering him powerless.

Bould informed the jury that substantial amounts of the woman’s DNA were found inside Masterson’s boxer shorts recovered from his home. Despite the officer’s evolving stance, the prosecution argues that Masterson willfully misconducted himself by engaging in sexual activity with a vulnerable member of the public while on duty. They contest that his actions were deliberate, challenging Masterson’s assertion of powerlessness.

Masterson, visibly emotional during the court hearing, vehemently denies the charge of misconduct in a public office, setting the stage for a scandalous courtroom drama.
