Raises eyebrows and cheers at Hollywood improv with a significant stunt

Comedian Natasha Leggero left the audience in shock and awe during her recent set at Skyler Stone’s Comedy Rocks event in Los Angeles when she decided to take her top off on stage. However, it turns out the unexpected move carried a deeper message.

Leggero, 49, performed at the renowned Hollywood Improv, sharing the stage with comedy heavyweights such as David Spade and Tiffany Haddish. The daring act occurred last Wednesday, garnering a mix of surprise and approval from the audience.

The precedent for this unorthodox move was set by shirtless comedian Bert Kreischer, who performed earlier in the evening. Known for his trademark shirtless routine, Kreischer humorously justifies it by expressing his desire to ‘have a good time,’ inspiring laughter from the crowd.

Leggero, however, seemed to have a different take on this familiar comedic trope. As Kreischer introduced her to the stage while bare-chested, Leggero made her entrance to the beats of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s ‘Still D.R.E.’ The audience’s attention peaked as she gracefully removed layers, culminating in the removal of her white top.

In response to the surprised reactions, Leggero addressed the crowd, posing a question that echoed the sentiment of her unconventional act: “If the boys can do it, why can’t the girls?”

The comedian cleverly used the unexpected stunt as a platform to challenge gender norms in comedy, prompting cheers and applause from the audience.

This audacious move adds Leggero’s name to the list of comedians pushing boundaries, and it surely won’t be forgotten in the vibrant world of stand-up comedy.
