Austria in shock as school discovers educator’s double life

In a bizarre turn of events, an elementary school teacher in Austria has been relieved of her duties after it was revealed that she identified as the ‘Orgasm Pope’ and offered online sex coaching services for middle-aged adults.

Monika Rahel Ring, 47, who taught gym to elementary school pupils, found herself at the center of controversy when her dual role as an online sex coach came to light. The revelation, reported by Austrian newspaper Oberoesterreichische Nachrichten, detailed Ring’s clandestine activities, where she provided advice, seminars, and videos on adult sexual satisfaction.

The school board reportedly gave Ring an ultimatum before terminating her employment near Christmas. Alfred Klampfer, head of the school board, stated, “This decision was made after involving all the relevant parties, conducting the necessary investigations, and after careful consideration.”

Ring’s online presence, particularly on Facebook, featured encouraging messages on sexuality, urging interested individuals to contact her for guidance. Despite the scandal, Ring’s lawyer revealed her determination to contest the ruling, emphasizing that she never shared nude or pornographic content online.

In one translated post from December last year, Ring’s Facebook page delved into topics surrounding nudity and sexuality. It read, “Nudity – a total taboo? Is it also very difficult for you to show yourself naked to your [partner]? Light [on] during sex is a total no go? Then it’s time for you to enter the sacred space of sexuality.”

While Ring plans to challenge the decision, the incident has sparked discussions about the boundaries between personal and professional life, as well as the evolving expectations of educators in the 21st century.
