Peruvian ‘tiny aliens’ unveiled: The secrets behind the extraterrestrial mystery unravelled!

The sensational discovery of a pair of ‘alien mummies‘ at Lima airport last October took a dramatic turn, confirming suspicions that the mysterious figurines were nothing more than an intricate fabrication.

Found within the offices of courier DHL in a cardboard box, these peculiar figurines, resembling mummified bodies adorned in traditional Andean attire, sparked rumours of extraterrestrial origins. Hastily dispatched for forensic analysis alongside a three-fingered hand believed to be from Peru’s Nazca region, the truth behind these purported extraterrestrial artefacts was revealed during a press conference in Lima.

Flavio Estrada, an archaeologist with Peru’s Institute for Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, led the investigation and stated unequivocally, “The conclusion is simple: they are dolls assembled with bones of animals from this planet, with modern synthetic glues, therefore they were not assembled during pre-Hispanic times.” He dismissed any extraterrestrial connections, clarifying, “They’re not extraterrestrials. They’re dolls made from animal bones from this planet joined together with modern synthetic glue.”

The forensic experts presented the 2-foot-long dolls dressed in vibrant red, orange, and green clothes, emphasising that examinations revealed the use of bones from birds, dogs, and other animals in their creation. The ownership of these objects is yet to be determined by the prosecutor’s office, though it was disclosed that a Mexican citizen was the intended recipient before customs agents seized them in October.

This incident echoes a similar embarrassment in Mexico, where journalist José Jaime Maussan and lawmakers faced international ridicule in September for presenting comparable ‘alien mummies’ to the country’s congress during a UFO hearing. Maussan had claimed, “These specimens are not part of our evolutionary history on Earth,” asserting they were recovered from a UFO crash. However, subsequent forensic analysis by the Peruvian prosecutor’s office debunked these claims, revealing the alleged alien bodies as “recently manufactured dolls, which have been covered with a mixture of paper and synthetic glue to simulate the presence of skin.” The saga of otherworldly hoaxes continues to captivate and confound.
