A dispute over an inheritance cheque leads to a sinister crime in Milwaukee’s Pizza Hut

In a shocking incident that has gripped Milwaukee, a local Pizza Hut has become the scene of a grim murder investigation. Authorities have detained Kavonn Ingram, 31, on allegations of murdering his manager, 55-year-old Alex Stengel, in a dispute rooted in envy and avarice over a £5,400 inheritance cheque.

The discovery was made on the 7th of February when a refuse lorry operator stumbled upon Stengel’s remains concealed in a bin behind the South Milwaukee Pizza Hut establishment. Responding officers traced a chilling path of blood leading back to the eatery’s kitchen, revealing signs of a hastily cleaned crime scene, with bloodstains evident on various kitchen implements and fixtures.

Upon visiting Ingram’s residence, police were greeted by his partner, who ominously enquired if their visit pertained to Alex Stengel. She later divulged that Ingram had been eyeing up Stengel’s recently acquired inheritance, even going so far as to discuss the feasibility of executing the murder.

Ingram, now in custody and facing charges including premeditated murder, has allegedly confessed to shooting Stengel in the head within the confines of the Pizza Hut kitchen, with intentions of making it appear as a robbery by also attempting to slit his throat. The motive, as suggested by authorities, appears to be Stengel’s inheritance, which he had flaunted in cash form to his colleagues, including Ingram, days before his tragic demise.

Compelling evidence from surveillance footage near the crime scene shows a suspect, believed to be Ingram, struggling with a bin, presumably containing Stengel’s body, towards the Pizza Hut’s refuse area. Further damning evidence was unearthed during the investigation, including Stengel’s personal belongings missing from his corpse, attempts by Ingram to obscure his tracks by falsifying Stengel’s work attendance and misusing his phone for deceptive communications.

The case has taken a sombre turn with the discovery of a firearm at Ingram’s abode, supporting the charges against him which encompass first-degree intentional homicide, concealment of a corpse, armed robbery, and illegal possession of a firearm. The court has set Ingram’s bail at a steep £163,000.

As the community reels from the brutality of this act, Pizza Hut has yet to make an official statement regarding the incident. This tragic event underscores the dark lengths to which greed can drive individuals, leaving a community to mourn and seek justice for the untimely loss of Alex Stengel.
