Despite the urgency, they were initially sent home and later called back for an eye exam.

As of now, Evelyn and her family still await an official diagnosis. Katie Fitzgerald expressed her anguish, stating, “It’s been horrendous, her eyesight still hasn’t returned, and we have no answers.” The family suspects that Evelyn might have CVI or a cyst on her brain.
